SESSION 11 - BALANCE & COMPOSITION

2 hour class. We start together, split into 2 breakout sessions, then come back together at the end. 

In this class we will learn how to arrange elements for harmony, contrast, and focus to create balance and composition within the artwork

Artemis: Using acrylic paint, collage, rule of thirds, radial balance to create a focal point for a balanced piece

Brick-X: Create a flat-lay mosaic with limited color palette and a defined focal area. Experiment with symmetry vs asymmetry
